In a recent study by the World Wide Fund (WWF) UK Greetings leads the way in responsible sourcing having scored 3 trees in the WWF Timber Scorecard Report 2017.

The WWF Timber Scorecard Report is a biennial report that scores businesses on the visibility of their timber (paper in the case of cards) sourcing policies and the steps they’ve taken to improve their performance.

Out of 128 companies tested, UKG was 1 of 40 companies that scored 3 trees.

The report states ‘These ‘3 tree’ companies are the top performers, they can be characterised by the clarity and simplicity with which they report their timber and wood product purchasing and performance. These companies are showing their competitors that it is possible to act responsibly when it comes to forest trade.’

Ceri Stirland, Director of Marketing, UKG comments; “we are really pleased that we have been awarded this accolade, we have worked closely with the WWF over the last few years to achieve this status.”

UKG will continue to be committed to supporting this campaign.
