UK Greetings Win Two Prestigious Henries 2020 Awards for Product and Customer Service
The winners of The Henries 2020 Greeting Card Awards were revealed on the 10th December 2020 at a memorable awards event, which took place virtually, and brought together 700 members of the greeting card community, not just from all around the UK, but from all around the world.
The event this year may have taken place virtually, but the awards are very real! UKG are absolutely delighted to once again to win Best Service to the Independent Retailer, bronze position. More so because votes come directly from customers and are very grateful for the recognition.
This will be the 10th consecutive year UKG have been nominated for this prestigious award. Having won in the previous 9 years, we are keeping everything crossed that we are successful once again this year.
Darren Cave, Commercial Director, UK Greetings commented; “This is fantastic news! We pride ourselves on our creative talent and the service and support that we offer to each and every one of our customers. This nomination is a reflection of everything that is great about our business. Everyone should feel proud. This has been a tough and challenging year, so it is great to receive such wonderful news.”
We are equally delighted to have won the award for Best Photographic Range with Landscape Photographer of the Year.
Sandi Parisi, Creative Director, UK Greetings commented; “We are very happy to receive a Henry for Landscape Photographer of The Year, it’s a competition that we have been supporting for many years with our Camden brand. It celebrates both photography as an art form and the beautiful and diverse British landscapes. Tribute goes to all those artists who travel up and down the land, waiting patiently to capture the perfect moment.
On behalf of UKG and Landscape Photographer of the year, we thank you for recognising our efforts.”
The Henries recognise excellence in the greetings card industry. Each year some 14,000 cards are entered, and all are judged by a panel comprised of top retail buyers from across a wide variety of outlets. The current COVID-19 restrictions meant this year’s event took on a whole new format and was delivered virtually.
