Horrible Histories Greeting Cards

First published in 1993 by Scholastic, the Horrible Histories® books, written by Terry Deary and illustrated by Martin Brown, have sold over 30 million copies worldwide and have now become an award-winning TV series.

The cruel characters and fascinating facts featured in the books and TV series have now inspired the fantastic Horrible Histories cards from Carlton Cards, part of the UK Greetings family.

The Horrible Histories cards are available in general, aged and relation designs. With colourful, striking and eye-catching designs, bold lettering, badges and fun historical-themed games.

The Horrible Histories cards feature characters from the Awesome Egyptians to the Rotten Romans, the Smashing Saxons to the Putrid Pirates, this exciting new range fully reflects the irreverent spirit of the books.

Now in its third season, the series has generated two spin-off shows – the Gory Games quiz show now broadcasting on CBBC, and a six-part prime-time show hosted by Stephen Fry, starting Sunday 19 June at 6pm on BBC1.
