Accept Our Responsibility Within Our Communities

Many UKG employees live within the local communities and our involvement with those communities is vitally important to us as a company. This involvement engenders mutual respect & good will between our business and the community. UK Greetings:

• Sponsors the “Champion Children” Charity in Dewsbury, in conjunction with the local newspaper, the Dewsbury Reporter, supporting children who have faced and come through serious adversity.

• Supports the Kirkwood and Wakefield Hospices in West Yorkshire with their ‘Light up a Life’ fund-raising campaign, supplying them with bespoke Christmas cards that are sold in aid of these worthwhile causes.

• Human Resources staff conduct mock interviews and facilitate tours of the company and host work placements for local students.

• Takes care to ensure its operations have minimal impact on the local environment.

• Sends its redundant mobile phones to a recycling company who give a pro-rata donation to a charity of our choice.  Charities who have benefited so far include Childline and the Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Trust
